- Pioneer Group
was set up in the year 2000.It started with a Training Institute- Pioneer Institute
of Education & Computer Studies in Jan 2000 and was primarily set up to provide
IT education to the Mariners.
- In Feb 2000 it became a
Computer Work Center of Indira Gandhi National Open University conducting Graduation
level Courses in the IT Industry - CIC and BCA and later developed into a full fledged
IGNOU Programme Study Center .

- In 2001 a tie up was made
with the St. John Ambulance, becoming their authorized training center for conducting
First Aid and Home Nursing Courses.

- In 2002 Pioneer Educational
and welfare foundation was Registered as per societies act of 1860 with Govt of
NCT of Delhi.

- In 2003 Pioneer was accredited
by National Open School as a vocational training center conducting courses approved
by Ministry of HRD , Govt Of India.

- In 2004 Pioneer entered
into shipping field and developed a module for training the back end staff of
CSAV group in Container familiarization and Multimodal Transportation.

In 2005 Pioneer developed in house training programme for Dockendale Shipping co
Ltd and handled all their training
requirements. Further a tie up was made with Dockendale to handle their manpower
requirements in north India and Pioneer became their Delhi representative office

- In 2006 Pioneer developed
a team of Marine Professionals to handle Shipping Company Specific Requirements

Vetting and On Board Training.

Implementation on new Deliveries and Takeover Vessels. |

Pioneer started providing Superintendence attendance to Thome Ship Management for
Suez transits.
|
- In 2007 association
with Thome built up and Pioneer Superintendents were attending to their Pre Vetting
and onboard Training requirements.

Pioneer was ISO 9001:2000 certified on 14 April 2007 for PSS,PMTI,PDMTI
and IT Solutions.

- Pioneer had the opportunity
to join hand with MMSI , the Indian operation arm of MMS , Tokyo , and assisted
them in their recruitment activities for North India since 1 Jan 2007.Further Pre
Vetting Inspections and On Board Training began for MMS , Tokyo .

- In 2008 Pioneer developed a team of Inspectors at all major Indian Ports to
Carry out Flag State Inspections on behalf of Marshall Islands .

- In addition to
onboard Training Pioneer started providing assistance during new deliveries
and takeovers
for systematically setting up the ISM onboard.

- In 2009 Pioneer Sailing
Services Pvt. Ltd. Was formed as a complete solution for shipping industry for their
training and various 3rd party services. Pioneer Sailing services Pvt. Ltd. is also
certified as an ISO 9001:2008 standard company.

- Today Pioneer has grown
with a pool of 12 Master Mariners and Chief Engineers with expertise in the field
of Hands on Training development and Trouble shooting.
